Meet Iris! This 3-year-old sweetheart is as easygoing as they come. She's super easy to leash, a breeze to walk, and pottied right away once outside. Iris loves affection and is always looking for pets and attention. She takes treats gently, had no reaction to other dogs on leash (just happily ignored them), and was easy to handle all over'paws, belly, and full body touches were no problem at all. Iris can get a little mouthy during play, but she's very easy to redirect. She loves sprawling out on the floor and soaking up the good life. She likes teenagers and is open to meeting younger kids. Iris may do best in a single dog household as she likes the undivided attention of her peeps. Even better, Iris recently got great news: she was originally scheduled for eye removal, but with consistent ointment and being such a patient girl for treatment, her infection has improved so much that vets say surgery is no longer needed.
