Sweet Rufus!! This sweet boy is growing bigger and furrier right before our eyes! Rufus came to Dogwood as a stray with a bloated belly and mange. Once he got treatment for the mange and some good food, his life turned around. He has really come out of his shell in his foster home and his puppy personality is starting to shine. He loves to play with his toys and all of the dogs he's met. He's also made friends with the dog savvy cats in his foster home and follows them around.... Sweet Rufus!! Rufus sleeps in his crate at night without issue and goes out to potty in the morning. He seems to be housetrained and goes outside to potty. He is still a bit tentative when meeting new people, but he does give tail wags and kisses when introduced with patience. We think he's a German shepherd mix and he's probably about 12 weeks old.
