Meet Dave 10-month-old Shepherd Mix Gentle Soul, Ready for His Forever Home Dave is a sweet, sensitive shepherd mix who's been through a recent change-he was returned to us when his family moved and couldn't take him along. While that was confusing for a young pup, Dave has handled it with quiet resilience and a whole lot of heart. This handsome guy does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially when introductions are calm and respectful.... This handsome guy does well with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially when introductions are calm and respectful. If another dog comes on a little too strong too fast, Dave may shy away at first-but given a moment, he settles in just fine. He may not be a fan of kitties though. Dave already has some great life skills under his belt: he's crate trained, house trained, and knows some basic manners, which means he's off to a fantastic start. He's still young and will thrive with continued positive training, patience, and love. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's past the tiny-puppy stage but still has plenty of growing (and cuddling) to do, Dave might be your guy.
