Mini Goldendoodle
highNeeds Yard

Welcome Zira! This beautiful 11 week old baby and her Zena, were born on Easter and are what's known as unfurnished FIBB mini Goldendoodles. It's a big mouthful that basically means they have a sleeker, more wash and wear coat that won't need professional clipping/grooming, but may shed. Pups with this coat can happen in the same litter as a more typical curly doodle coat. It doesn't mean the neighbors dog jumped the fence, but it may be why they didn't sell well as doodles.... We do have DNA on them and the parents are pictured on the far right. Mom on top, Dad below. The entire family, including mom and dad (also available) joined us due to an unsafe situation in their previous home. An unfurnished F1BB mini goldendoodle is a small-breed cross (typically 12.5% Golden Retriever and 87.5% Poodle) that lacks the dominant gene for furnishings. This means the dog has short facial hair like a retriever rather than the classic fluffy "teddy bear" beard, mustache, and eyebrows. The puppy inherits an improper coat (smooth face), meaning they do not grow the characteristic long facial furnishings or heavy furnishings of a standard doodle. As a result, they look very similar to a Golden Retriever coat with the smoother face, front surfaces of legs etc Anyway, these beauties are super sweet babies and expected to mature at similar size to their parents, between 25-35 pounds.
