Oh Rufus..... This little guy is breaking our hearts. Thank you shelter friends for getting him off the streets and starting his care. Rufus is just a baby, who was all alone and unwanted in a shelter kennel, underweight, bloated belly, and suffering from a nasty case of sarcoptic mange. That's the contagious kind. The kind that even people can get. Who would want him? And even sadder, the little guy is terrified of people. Well we want him of course.... Oh Rufus..... This little guy is breaking our hearts. The kind that even people can get. Who would want him? And even sadder, the little guy is terrified of people. Well we want him of course. We want to love him and care for him, heal his sad little mangey body and broken spirit and show him that he's safe and loved. And we will. Rufus appears to be a German Shepherd mix puppy of around 10-12 weeks old. The good news is that mange is very treatable these days and he's likely to make a full recovery.
