Good little Mama Darcy!! Less than 24 hours after arriving, this sweet mama delivered 6 adorable pups. Thank you transport angels, for driving many hours yesterday to make sure this little mama didn't deliver in the shelter. We were alerted to a very pregnant abandoned dog in a shelter and we said yes. Most of our followers know that with the current devastating overpopulation crisis, we spay/abort whenever possible, even late term.... Good little Mama Darcy!! Less than 24 hours after arriving, this sweet mama delivered 6 adorable pups. Thank you transport angels, for driving many hours yesterday to make sure this little mama didn't deliver in the shelter. We were alerted to a very pregnant abandoned dog in a shelter and we said yes. Most of our followers know that with the current devastating overpopulation crisis, we spay/abort whenever possible, even late term. We are literally turning away more than 100 dogs and puppies a day for lack of space. Dogs/pups already born and breathing are waiting without hope. When we spay/abort, we save mama the risks of labor, delivery, and nursing, and we can save more pups already here. But if we can't get them in to the vet in time, we welcome the litter with open arms, and more importantly, we make sure mama and all pups get a wonderful start and most importantly, we make sure all get spayed/neutered and find great homes.
