Trooper's Doggie Day Out 5/8/26:Trooper was around kids, including my younger brother (16) and neighbors. He was approachable and calm throughout the interactions, letting them feel comfortable even when some were shy to pet at first. All of them said they enjoyed petting Trooper!Throughout the Doggie Day Out, Trooper was friendly from the get-go, warming up quickly to us while in the car.... He was approachable and calm throughout the interactions, letting them feel comfortable even when some were shy to pet at first. All of them said they enjoyed petting Trooper!Throughout the Doggie Day Out, Trooper was friendly from the get-go, warming up quickly to us while in the car. Once we brought him out to go on a walk, he never tugged, and walked perfectly alongside both of us; unfazed by cars, loud noises, or other people walking by. When we brought him to rest inside our house, he definitely became a lap-dog, laying on me (daughter) almost the whole duration of his nap. Overall, he's a good mix of active and lounger depending on the situation!For our day out with Trooper, we decided to take him out on two walks; one around the neighborhood and the other down an open park. He was able to experience walking in different surfaces and played fetch with the tennis ball and his toys that were provided in the backpack. He loved his pup cup when we brought him back in the car! The rest of the duration, we let him rest and fed him treats and water due to it being a hot day. If we had more time, we would've definitely brought him out to eat at a dog-friendly restaurant! Read more Show less
