Po, 1 yr (M)
Po is literally the big man on campus; in Kitty City at Valley Humane Society, he is not only the most strapping cat, he has personality and then some! Po knows his mind and while he greatly appreciates treats, he won't hesitate to push you away when he doesn't like your choices. He is curious and agile; easily clearing a baby gate when he wants to let himself out of his room. Po is the current Mayor of Kitty City and he's large and in-charge.... Po is the current Mayor of Kitty City and he's large and in-charge. He's quick to check out his new constituents, sticking in paws into their kennels to say hello (or maybe to steal their food!). Po's adoption fee is waived! Po was transferred to Valley Humane on 2/15 from the East County Animal Shelter. Po is a young adult (estimated to be between 1 and 4 years old) and weighs 15.7 pounds. Po had a condition called \“entropion\“ in the right eye, which means that his eyelid margin rolled inward, causing corneal irritation. The entropion has been surgically repaired and no further treatment for this condition is anticipated. His skin sutures are due to be removed on or around March 2-3rd, 2026 and his e-collar should remain in place until the skin sutures have been removed. If adopted prior to removal, the adopting family may schedule an appointment to have the sutures removed with the VHS medical team.
